Short answer. We meet you in the arrivals hall at Terminal 1. There is no desk to find and no queue to join. Send us your flight number when you book. We watch the flight, so a delay is our problem, not yours. Bring your licence and passport.

Where exactly do we meet you?

Heydar Aliyev airport is 21 km from the centre of Baku. Terminal 1 handles almost all international flights.

You clear passport control and collect your bags. Then you walk into the arrivals hall.

Our driver waits there with your name on a sign. The car is parked a short walk outside.

Tell us your flight number and we do the rest. Send it on WhatsApp when you book.

What happens if your flight is late?

Nothing changes for you. We track the arrival time and move the meeting with it.

Delays are normal and we plan for them. You are not charged for the wait.

If you get stuck at passport control, send one message. The driver waits.

What about a flight at three in the morning?

Many flights from the Gulf and from Russia land at night. We deliver at any hour.

Night arrivals need one extra thing from you. Confirm the day before, so the driver knows you are coming.

Do not plan a long drive straight after a night flight. Take the car to your hotel and sleep first.

How long does the handover take?

About ten to fifteen minutes in total.

  1. We check your licence and passport.
  2. You read and sign the contract.
  3. We walk around the car together and photograph it.
  4. You get the keys and the emergency numbers.

Photograph the car yourself as well. Every panel, the wheels, the fuel gauge, the mileage. Those two minutes settle any later argument.

What do you need in your hand?

  • Your original driving licence
  • Your passport, the one you entered on
  • Your e-visa or entry stamp
  • An international permit, if your licence is not in Latin letters

Not sure about your licence? Check our table of documents by country first.

The bus is the cheapest way into town by far. It is slow and awkward with luggage.

If you are renting anyway, delivery to the terminal costs you nothing extra.

Should you take the car at the airport at all?

Not always. Ask yourself one question. Do you need a car on day one?

Staying three days in the centre? Then take a taxi in and rent later, only for the days you leave town.

We deliver to hotels across Baku, so that plan works fine. The numbers are in our article on cars against taxis.
