What Is Airport Transfer in Baku?

This class groups the best cars for meeting guests at Baku airport or heading there yourself. It includes sedans, one 9-person minivan, and premium models like the Mercedes S-Class. Most cars seat 4 or 5 people. Most use a petrol engine with an automatic gearbox.

You book the car and drive it yourself. You keep it for the full rental period, from pickup to drop-off. Many renters use it to reach the airport, then keep the car for a trip around the country before they fly out.

Pick a sedan like the Hyundai Sonata for 1 or 2 passengers with normal luggage. Pick the Kia Carnival 9 Person for a bigger group. Pick the Mercedes S-Class or the Mercedes G63 for a VIP arrival.

Where This Class Works Well

Baku airport sits outside the city. The ride in from GYD often runs on open highway. Traffic builds up only near the city center. A sedan or SUV from this class handles that drive with ease.

The same cars work for a longer trip after you land. The highway to Gabala and Sheki is paved and smooth, and a sedan like the Hyundai Sonata rides it well. The climb to Shahdag in winter needs snow tires and ground clearance. Pick one of the SUVs in this class, like the Toyota Land Cruiser, for that route.

The road to Gobustan is flat and short, fine for any car here. For a family arriving with children and heavy bags, the Kia Carnival or a Land Cruiser gives the most room. Both fit large suitcases without stacking them on a lap.

What the Price Includes

Every price includes ICBARI insurance and unlimited mileage. You will not pay extra for kilometers driven. A deposit of 200 to 300 USD holds the booking. You get it back when you return the car.

How to Pick Up Your Car

Our office sits on Rasul Rza, next to Winter Park. It stays open 24 hours, no appointment needed. For a straight airport transfer, we deliver the car to Baku airport, GYD, for 15 USD. Hotel delivery costs 10 USD. You must be at least 19 years old. You also need 1 year of driving experience.

Bring your license, your passport, and your entry stamp. A foreign license needs no translation for the first 30 days in the country. After that, bring an international license too. Full airport information sits on the Baku airport site, including terminal maps and flight status.
