How much does it cost to rent a car in Baku?
You can rent a car in Baku from 25 USD (42.5 AZN) a day for a small car and from 65 USD (110.5 AZN) for a large SUV.
Mileage is unlimited, and the deposit is 200 to 300 USD (340–510 AZN).

What is in the price?
- ICBARI insurance. The compulsory cover is on every car. It covers damage to other people. Full damage cover for the car itself is optional, with an excess of 300 to 500 EUR.
- Unlimited mileage anywhere inside Azerbaijan.
- All taxes. The daily rate is the final rate.
- A second driver can go on the contract.

Where do you pick the car up?
Our office is on Rasul Rza street, by Winter Park, in the centre.
You can walk in from the street at any hour, no booking needed. The sign above the door reads autoUnion.

We have no desk in the arrivals hall. Car rental in Baku works the other way round here: we drive the car out to you.
To rent a car in Baku you need a passport and a driving licence.
Your national licence works for 30 days from the day you enter, if it is in Latin letters. Otherwise bring an international permit too.
Who can rent, and how do you pay?
You need to be 19 or older, with at least one year of driving experience.
Pay in cash, by bank card or by a payment link we send to your phone. You do not need a credit card: cash and debit cards both work. Economy cars usually need no prepayment to hold a booking.
Changing the date or time of a booking is free. A luxury car can be cancelled free up to one day before the rental starts.
A rented car cannot cross the border, into Georgia or anywhere else.

BookingCarBaku is the rental brand operated by Agha Group under the autoUnion franchise in Baku. We have rented cars here since 2023. The fleet is 105 cars today.
The office is open 24 hours and the phone answers at night.
