Seven seats or seven people?
Seven seats and seven people are not the same thing. Baku bookings go wrong here.
A seven-seat SUV has a third row that folds into the boot floor. Raise it and the boot almost disappears.
So a seven-seat SUV carries seven people and three small bags. A seven-seat SUV does not carry seven suitcases.
A minivan keeps a real boot behind the last row. The boot is the whole difference.

Count your bags before you choose a minivan in Baku. Then count them again including the hand luggage.
Who needs minivan rental in Baku?
- Families of five or six. Especially with child seats, which eat width.
- Two families travelling together. One van beats two cars on cost and on hassle.
- Groups arriving on one flight. Everyone leaves the airport at once.
- Long tours. Space matters more when you drive four hours at a time.
Gulf and Pakistani families are our most frequent minivan customers. Both groups travel in larger numbers and in summer.

One minivan usually costs less than two smaller cars. One minivan also means one driver, not two.
Is a minivan hard to drive?
A minivan is easier to drive than people expect. Modern vans drive like tall cars and all of ours are automatic.
Two things need care. Parking in central Baku is tight, and low car park entrances exist.
Height is the trap. Check the sign before you drive into an underground car park.
Outside the city none of this matters. The highways are wide and empty.
What about child seats?
Children under 12 may not sit in the front seat in Azerbaijan.
Tell us the ages of your children when you book. We bring the right seats with the van.
Do not plan on buying seats after you land. Ask in advance and it is arranged.
Where do minivans go badly?
Two places, and both are in central Baku.
Streets around the Old City are narrow and often one way. A van fits, but turning is awkward.
Underground car parks have low entrances. Read the height sign before you commit.
Neither is a reason to avoid a van. Park outside the centre and walk in.
What if you are more than eight?
More than eight people need a Sprinter-class minibus, with or without a driver.
Groups that size usually take a driver. Nobody wants to park a minibus in the centre.

Minivan rental in Baku costs more per day than a sedan. Split by six, it costs less.

How many suitcases fit in a minivan?
Four to five large cases fit in a minivan with every seat in use. More if you fold a row.
Can I drive a minivan on a normal licence?
Yes, a normal category B licence covers a minivan in Azerbaijan. Category B allows up to eight passenger seats. Larger buses need more.
Are minivans automatic?
Yes, all our minivans are automatic. Manual vans are rare in Baku.
Do you have child seats?
Yes, we have child seats. Give our Baku office the ages at booking and we fit them before delivery.
How early should I book for summer?
Book two to three weeks ahead for July and August. Baku minivans go first.
Can a minivan handle mountain roads?
Main roads to Gabala and Sheki, yes. Rough village tracks, take an SUV.
